Privacy Policy

ENYO Metronome · Effective 11 August 2026

ENYO Metronome collects no personal data. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no account, and no third-party code in the app. It contains no networking of its own, so it has no way to send anything to us or to anyone else.

Who this is from

ENYO Metronome is made by ENYO Technologies. This policy covers the ENYO Metronome app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro, and the pages at metronome.enyotechnologies.com.

What the app stores, and where

On your device

Your settings — tempo, time signature, subdivision, click sound, volume, beat pattern, appearance and the rest — are stored on the device using the system's standard preference storage. They never leave it unless you turn on iCloud sync, and they are removed when you delete the app.

In your iCloud account

If you are signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive enabled, your setlists and songs are synced through Apple's iCloud key-value storage so they appear on your other devices. This data lives in your iCloud account, under your Apple Account. We have no server, no database and no access to it — we cannot read it, copy it, or recover it for you. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Turning off iCloud Drive stops the syncing. The app continues to work fully offline.

Files you choose to share

Exporting a setlist writes a .metroset file that you then send wherever you like. The file contains only the setlist: song names, tempos, meters and beat patterns. Nothing is uploaded anywhere in the process, and the file goes only where you send it.

What the app does not do

Purchases

The app offers one optional in-app purchase: a tip that unlocks an alternate app icon. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see your payment details — not your card, not your name, not your address. The app receives only a signed receipt from Apple confirming that the purchase belongs to your Apple Account, and that receipt is handled on the device.

Apple provides us with anonymous, aggregated sales reports — totals by country and date. These contain no information that identifies any individual.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included. There is nothing to delete, because nothing is ever gathered.

Your rights

Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. The data the app creates is on your own device and in your own iCloud account, entirely under your control: delete a setlist in the app to remove it, or delete the app to remove everything it stored locally.

This website

These pages are plain HTML and CSS. They set no cookies, run no analytics, and load no fonts, scripts or images from anyone else's server — which is why you see no cookie banner. Our web host records standard server access logs, as every web server does, and those are used only to keep the site running.

Links to the App Store, Apple Support and other Apple pages lead to Apple, whose own privacy policy applies once you leave here.

Changes

If a future version of the app changes what it stores, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date at the top will change with it. Substantive changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
